About Us
Oasis History
Ingrid
began her own profound transformational journey 12 years ago; it began with
weekly riding lessons at a local Dressage Horse Stable and slowly grew as she
realized the incredible difference having such a deep bond with animals was having
on her life. She began experiencing
profound happiness and freedom as the horses grounded her and restored her to
her own natural way of being. Having those mere two hours a week became her
sanctuary, her Oasis; a place free from judgment and criticism, a beautiful and
safe space where she could just be.
It
was from this place that Ingrid envisioned The Oasis Farm and Wellness Centre
and manifested its opening in 2009. The Oasis Farm and Wellness Centre
continues to grow towards this goal; to become a place where everyone can come,
connect and feel inspired joyful and free, to be a part of a supportive
community, connect to animals and nature and find your own inner Oasis.

aspect of life; to offer a safe and positive atmosphere that creates passion

joy; to inspire and teach life’s truths and to facilitate profound learning. It
is our mission to help clients achieve their natural wellness and manifest
their desires into reality, to help create deep and meaningful relationships
with the people and animals in their lives. It is our mission to learn and
offer ground breaking and profound tools and offerings that are easy to
understand, practical and truly help create the futures our clients envision.
Property
From the
House you can see all the way to the Cavan Boundary as the land stretches on
before you. The sun dapples the fields as the horses graze and play listening
to the orchestra of songbirds twilling from the trees which edge the property
into the distance. The land is wrapped in a blanket of forest where trails lead
to and fro along a meandering creek and the wind breezes softly whispering in
hushed tones of freedom and peace.
This stunning scene is the backdrop
for the inspirational and life enriching programs that The Oasis Farm and
Wellness Centre offers. The programs offered range from Personal wellness,
Animal Communication and Horse Training Programs to Spiritual Awakening and
Exploration and FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning). These amazing
programs and the beautiful scenery can be found only fifteen minutes from the
downtown Peterborough Core and only a Kilometre off of highway 7; and is home
to some truly wonderful Practitioners and Teachers.
The Oasis Farm and Wellness Centre is a place where everyone can come, connect and feel inspired, joyful and free, to be a part of a supportive community, connect to animals and nature and find your own inner Oasis Where your dreams are achieved.
To
register for a course or service you can call, e-mail or visit our contact us
page on the website. All registrations must be made at the very least 48 hours
prior to appointment or course run date.
To
maximize your learning experience classes are kept under 12 participants, 8 for
all FEEL Workshops, so please register early. Courses must have a minimum of 4
participants to be run. Full refunds are issued for all cancelled classes;
cancelled classes are re-scheduled.
If
you are unable to attend a course you have enrolled in please call or e-mail us
at least 2 days prior to the class date so we can refill your spot. If you are
unable to attend a service appointment a minimum of 24 hours notice is required
for cancellations or session fee is still required.
Unless
otherwise indicated (or approval has been granted) classes are intended for
participants of 18 years of age and older. Refreshments are provided for all
classes.
